Geese - San Francisco - 10.28.25
In many music circles Geese was THE band of 2025. The indie darling rolled into the legendary Fillmore on a Tuesday night but the buzz surrounding the band and this tour created electric weekend show energy. All the hipsters were in place, all the naysayers were perched on their judgement platforms, and all the fans were buzzing. I’ve been into the band since the release of “3D Country” but their newest release “Getting Killed” has propelled them. That coupled with their appearance on “Saturday Night Live” in January and all the accolades of being “the first new rock sound in a while”, or whatever the critics are saying about them, has put them a rocket ship trajectory and I’m here cheering for them.
